About
Dr Annette Kroen is a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Urban Research. She is an urban and regional planner with expertise in urban governance, resilience planning, integrated land use and transport planning, and policy analysis. She has worked on projects investigating housing policy, settlement planning, and disaster prevention, preparedness and response; resilience planning; social connectedness in communities on the urban fringe, benefit evaluation of investment in infrastructure in outer suburban growth areas; smart and sustainable cities; and National Urban Policy. She has also worked as a policy analyst with the Victorian State Government, and in private practice as a facilitator and consultant on a range of planning related projects.
