About
Stefania Ondei is a research fellow in fire science and physical pyrogeography at the University of Tasmania. Her expertise lies at the intersection of plant and landscape ecology, fire science, and spatial analysis.
Stefania's research aims to support multi-scale adaptation to current and future fire regimes, with particular focus on plant flammability and the design and assessment of fire-adapted gardens. She also works on research investigating the effect of fire regimes and historical land-cover changes on the distribution of native vegetation communities.
