Natural Hazards Research Australia is a proud sponsor of the Research Forum on Day 1 of AFAC22 powered by INTERSCHUTZ. Taking place from 23-25 August at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the conference brings together a broad spectrum of emergency management practitioners together to learn and share experiences. Showcasing the latest research and practice across the sector, AFAC22 will feature the multi-streamed AFAC Conference, incorporating the Institution of Fire Engineers (Australia) National Conference and the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference.

Centre CEO Andrew Gissing will deliver the Research Forum opening address and the Centre will have a booth, so drop by and say hello.

The conference will explore the theme 'Connecting communities. Creating resilience', with presenters set to explore how an inclusive approach across emergency management agencies is integral to reducing risk and fostering resilience now and into the future.
