Natural Hazards Research Australia continues to grow with the addition of new, and returning staff, strengthening communication and research.
Joanna Wood joins the Centre as the new Senior Communications Officer, while Dr Supriya Gurung has returned after six month’s parental leave to resume her role as Research Services Project Officer.
As the new Senior Communications Officer based in Melbourne, Joanna Wood brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. With 15 years’ communications experience within the health, not-for-profit and private sectors in Australia, the United Kingdom and Spain, Jo is passionate about empowering people and communities through knowledge and understanding.
We are delighted to welcome Dr Supriya Gurung back to the Centre after her parental leave. As a valued member of the Research Services Team, Supriya will be handling the Education and training program alongside core project administration.
