Junxiang Xu is a PhD candidate at The University of New South Wales (UNSW) with a strong interest in improving the resilience and safety of transportation systems under disaster conditions. His current research focuses on the topic: How do external and internal uncertainties affect disaster evacuation transport network design? Specifically, Junxiang’s work aims to address the challenges of pre-disaster flood evacuation planning and optimisation, seeking to provide practical strategies for enhancing network reliability and community safety.
