About
Vincent Lemiale is a Group Leader for the Analytics and Decision Sciences (A&DS) Program within CSIRO Data61. The Natural Systems Modelling Group's specialisation is in computational simulation and data analytics. Its aim is to build highly differentiated decision support systems, based on understanding and modelling the natural phenomena and system interactions that are central to natural hazards and their interaction with cities, the landscape and infrastructure; and human activity, medicine and health.
Vincent's research interests include the application of computational modelling to natural hazards and complex systems, and he has extensive experience in computational modelling methods including finite element schemes, particle-based techniques and agent-based models.
