- Information sharing and community safety: Lessons from the Montrose March 2025 fire - closes 29 August 2025
Ecological burning: development of conceptual model, management framework and prioritisation approach
This project concept has been developed by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (Victoria)
This project aims to develop a definition, conceptual model and management framework for ecological burning. This will support fire management planning and operational delivery and inform future prioritisation processes and process reforms.
EOI proposals are due by 5:00pm AEST, 27 August 2025 to research@naturalhazards.com.au.
Find out more about this EOI, including how to submit, how to register for the online briefing and any frequently asked questions, on the Ecological burning: development of conceptual model, management framework and prioritisation approach page.
Information sharing and community safety: Lessons from the Montrose March 2025 fire
This project concept has been developed by the Country Fire Authority (Victoria).
This research will use social science research methods to ensure that lessons from the Montrose fires (March 2025) are used to improve fire agency communication before, during and after an emergency.
EOI proposals are due by 5:00pm AEST, 29 August 2025 to research@naturalhazards.com.au.
